Wonderlings are wonderfully soft, collectible plush toys with a story to tell. Inspired by real characters and moments in history, each Wonderling has its own unique tale — bringing a little nostalgia, whimsy and wonder to a timeless keepsake.

Made using 100% recycled post-consumer polyester, each Wonderling has an irresistibly soft, vintage-inspired feel and is thoughtfully crafted to be loved, treasured and kept for years to come. Every character is individually numbered with its own unique authenticity code and arrives with a time travel ticket and self-penned postcard — little details that make each Wonderling just as special to gift as they are to keep.

Meet Theodore – c. 1902

Theodore takes us back to the very beginnings of the teddy bear. His story was inspired by a famous moment in 1902, when US President Theodore Roosevelt refused to shoot a captured bear during a hunting trip. The story captured hearts across America and inspired a Brooklyn shopkeeper to create a stuffed bear in his honour, affectionately naming it “Teddy’s Bear”.

With his beautifully soft golden fur and timeless vintage charm, Theodore is a little piece of teddy bear history made to cuddle, treasure and keep.

How to look after me:

Wash separately before use. Warm hand wash or gentle machine wash with like colours, maximum 40°C/ 105°F. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean. Line dry in shade or gentle/low tumble dry. Discontinue use immediately if the item is damaged or frayed.
