Wonderlings are wonderfully soft, collectible plush toys with a story to tell. Inspired by real characters and moments in history, each Wonderling has its own unique tale — bringing a little nostalgia, whimsy and wonder to a timeless keepsake.

Made using 100% recycled post-consumer polyester, each Wonderling has an irresistibly soft, vintage-inspired feel and is thoughtfully crafted to be loved, treasured and kept for years to come. Every character is individually numbered with its own unique authenticity code and arrives with a time travel ticket and self-penned postcard — little details that make each Wonderling just as special to gift as they are to keep.

Meet Hachiko – c. 1924

Hachiko is inspired by the remarkable true story of an Akita from Tokyo who became one of Japan’s most enduring symbols of loyalty and friendship.

Each day, Hachiko would wait at Shibuya Station for his beloved owner, Professor Ueno, to return home from work. Even after the Professor unexpectedly passed away, Hachiko continued returning to the station to wait for him — a ritual he kept up for years and one that touched people throughout Japan.

With his signature curled tail and sweet puppy ears, Hachiko is a beautiful little reminder of devotion, friendship and unconditional love.

How to look after me:

Wash separately before use. Warm hand wash or gentle machine wash with like colours, maximum 40°C/ 105°F. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean. Line dry in shade or gentle/low tumble dry. Discontinue use immediately if the item is damaged or frayed.
