DRIFT CANDLES:

Every single Drift Trading Co. candle is hand poured by us, a small family business on the Gold Coast.  Our candles are hand poured in small batches to ensure each and every candle has a strong fragrance throw from the first burn right down to the last.   We use a premium soy wax which is sustainable, renewable and biodegradable.

IMPORTANT // CANDLE CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please follow the below 'Candle Care' instructions to ensure you get the best out of your candle and to encourage a safe candle burning experience.

CREATE A BURN MEMORY
Always allow melted wax to reach the sides of the vessel for the first burn. This creates a 'burn memory' which will prevent your candle from tunneling and creates an even burn ensuring you get the maximum burn time out of your candle.

TRIM YOUR WICK
Ensure you trim your wick/s to a maximum of 5mm before relighting each time.  This is super IMPORTANT as it will reduce any smoke & 'mushrooming' of the wick encouraging a longer burn time.
 

BURN TIMES
Medium Ambers: maximum burn time of 2 hours each time
Large White & Xlge Amber: maximum burn time of 3 hours each time. 
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR XLGE AMBERS: Carefully monitor the burn of our Xlge Amber Candles once the wax reaches halfway down the vessel and extinguish the flame after 1 hour of burn time.

GENERAL CANDLE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
- ALWAYS place candle on an even surface
- NEVER leave a burning candle unattended
- ALWAYS leave 1-1.5cm of wax remaining at the bottom of the vessel

Reeds smell lovely

Fig & Cassis are always a winner for me & Drift's version is really lovely. Have had it in our home office for a week or two and gives a lovely fragrance, without smelling too sweet which can sometimes happen. Spoiled us with a candle too on recent sale. Only just lit it last night for the first time & seems good so far. Not a huge fan of double wicks in some other brands so hope this one holds out. Likely to purchase a refll for the reeds for laundry or bedroom.
